Good comedy, arrive late and skip the dj...
The comedy portion great was though. show up late like everyone else. a tonnnn of people straggled in late and I wish I had been one of them as They Are Gutting a Body of Water didn't have to sit through a rap/dj that morphed into karaoke sing along akin to "finish that lyric" that was both unexpected and unwelcome. sorry, I don't care that DJ Premier was in Gangstarr, nor do I want to give shoutouts to every band you played for 1 minute at a time. you don't need a hype man for a comedy show... it was the equivalent of a speaker who says "how's everyone doing" and then saying "I can't hear youuuu." we all hate that person. so if you show up 15 minutes prior like an adult, you are basically waiting an hour for the comedy to start. show starts at 8, comedy didn't actually start until 8:45.
